One Side of Hankie Edge Done!

I finished one side of my hankie edging! It looks really pretty:

I'll keep you posted as I finish the other sides! Now I just have to figure out the corners....

I finished my mom's spanish lace bookmark! it looks really nice, here's a picture:
The variegated yarns made this project really pretty. I've used them on snowflakes before.

Tatting 2

Alrighty! i'm all signed up for the next Tatting class. We'll we covering: attaching edgings, beads and tatting with two colors! i'm so excited!! My mom's book mark is coming along really nicely. I'm also headed to Micheal's and Hobby Lobby for thread and my own pair of scissors. I love tatting!

After Tatting Class

My second tatting class was today. We've had some pretty cold weather here so I am glad that my class wasn't canceled. My instructor told me how to attach an edging to a hankie. I'm hoping to take her intermediate class next! We'll cover tatting with beads and tatting with two different colors. I'm working on a Spanish book mark for my mom. It's going to be done in a variegated purple. I'm really excited! it's going to look really nice!

Alright let's get started! I started tatting in November of 2007. I learned from a DVD/book that was borrowed from my friend, Sara. I'm taking a class through a textile school in Malta Il. I'll post more pictures later!
