Here it is! The completed Lace Mat from Jon's Tat-a-Long!
This is a gorgeous pattern that I enjoyed so much, I'll be starting another one soon! Jon did a great job at re-diagramming this antique pattern! It was fun to think of all the other tatters around the world who were making the same doily I was here in Illinois. I'm still not 100% sold on the color choices that I picked, but like I said, I'm going to start another one soon. Thanks for all the great feedback on this doily and may all your tattings be blessed! Have a great weekend!

It turned out really nice!! You did a great job!! :)
The colors look pretty and help bring out the different elements in the design, it seems to me. Beautiful job of tatting!
congratulations Allison, very nice. The colors might look a bit odd when your mat is laying on the white background, but how does it look if you put it on the coffee table, or the some other background? appliqueing it to a fabric ~ pillow or..... might change how you feel about the colors too.
Your finished piece looks lovely. :)
Looks lovely, Jon did a great job with the doily and it seems to have have hit tat land with so many tatting this great pattern.

Looks great! I don't think the colors are bad at all, the combination is very nice.
Thank you for all the lovely comments! Ladytats - you are right! when it sits on a wood trunk I have it look much better! Then the brown looks really nice. This was a great doily! Can't wait to make another one!
Very lovely! Can't wait to make one myself.
I love the colours - subtle and elegant! Congrats!
