Bling Shuttles

Ok, I HAVE to ask...How and where did you ladies get your clover shuttles all glittery and cute!!?!?!?!? I would so love to learn to make them or purchase them if anyone is selling. Tattabugg's Lace posted the cutest shuttle picture on her blog and I've also seen them on Lace-lovein' Librarian. Place a comment if you know! This is a tatting 'Shout Out!"

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone! I'm about two or three hours away from finishing the 'Something Blue Hankie!' I'll keep you posted!
Allison

P.S. The thread catalog is coming along nicely! We are expected to get 3-5" of snow so I'm hoping to spend a little more time on it while the weather turns snowy!

Hi Allison, Here is the link to the shuttles I use http://www.etsy.com/shop/lacossette.... She makes the cutest shuttles!!! If you go to my blog her link is on the left. I have used clovers for years but, these are now my favorites!!!

I have seen and read about many of them and if I remember right, a lot of them are decopauged(I don't know if I spelled that right). Some have used napkins, material, stickers, all kinds of stuff.
Hope that helps(even though I haven't done any). :)

Lace Lovin Librarian blings her shuttles on a regular basis. I think there might even be a tutorial on her blog somewhere. Paper or fabric is modge-podged on and sometimes glitter or stickers or gems or nail decorations are added before the sealer. I know Decoramana has a tutorial on her blog.

I don't have nor wish for a blinged shuttle, but I do seem to remember that Lace Loving librarian, uses pretty papers like a single layer of a paper napkin and mod podge. others use the little stick on nail stickers and nail polish I think.
Diane has given directions on her blog somewhere, I don't know if she has a search, or key word list you can use to find it or not.

Allison, if you look at the top of my blog, there's a link for blinging my way. I learned from reading Decoromana's blog, and I adapted what I learned from her.

Have fun blinking, and please post pictures!

Here's where you can buy the gorgeous blinged Aero shuttles; and the set on Diane's blog comes from emsyjane, also an Etsy seller. I love those, but I will have to save up first!
