Interesting project! As a 'list maker' I started a chart awhile ago to keep track of tatting blogs so I could refer to it. It's over 130 in number, and I know I've only scratched the surface, especially with the European blogs! I love the internet for connecting us together! It's exhilarating to see how 'alive' tatting has been around the world, even though it doesn't compare in numbers with knitting and crocheting; and now it's really taking off! I'm waiting to see if there are any tatters in Hawaii! Haven't noticed any, so far!

Thanks for the encouragement about the tabs!

I'm originally from Detroit, Michigan which is in the Lower Peninsula. Then our family moved to Menominee in the Upper Peninsula where we were known as UP'ers. My husband and I moved to South Florida for 11 years and now we are living in Central Florida.

I have been tatting since the mid fifties, that is a whole bunch of years. I'm still learning with a whole lot more to learn! I find tatting a never ending learning experience which I do enjoy!!!

I have met so many wonderful people through tatting and the Internet.

I've been tatting since the 70's (although I also do countless other types of needlework--at the moment knitting, quiltmaking, and tatting). I'm originally from El Paso, *Illinois* and now live east of the Sandia Mountains in NM.

I forgot to add that I'm from the Pittsburgh, PA area. I've been tatting for 23 years, but it took me 33 years to finally learn how! I belong to the Beaver County Tatters (five members at the moment), and we attend several local festivals every year.

Spain. Although I learned the tatting basis time ago I've recently discovered the "techniques" behind and the beautiful things that can be done. I really enjoy doing it.

España. Aunque hace bastante tiempo que aprendí lo básico ha sido hace poco que he descubierto las técnicas que hay detrás y las cosas tan bonitas que se pueden hacer. Disfruto muchísimo haciéndolo.
