Awaiting Goodies!

For the past three wees between working, helping out at the farm at home, and graduating college, I've been tatting earrings and headbands like crazy for the artist event at the garden center where I work! I have a total of 8 pairs of earrings, in four styles and different colors and one headband/earring set. Now I have to figure out a way to display them! I'm thinking of taking an old picture frame and putting small, mesh screening in it to hang the earrings on. That was my mom's idea, which I love, and I think it will look fantastic! I'll be sure to take pictures and let you all know how it goes!

I'm also awaiting a package from Handy Hands Tatting with seven or eight new balls of thread! I also bought a new book by Yarnplayer called Up and Tat 'Em! I have always admired her work and cannot wait to try out some of her amazing patterns!
So that's all that's new around here! Busy as usual, but tatting along just the same! Here are some graduation pictures for you! Have a great week everyone!

Congratulations! Up and Tat Em is a fun book. I just finished the "Grand Aura" last night. (I must have mixed shuttles 1 and 2 at some point because I was two beads short on one and two extra on the other...next time, I'll just put a few extra beads on BOTH shuttles! The atom in that book is also super cool, though it does have a TON of ends.

Thanks for all the 'congrats' ladies! I'm so blessed : ) Susie - yes I am starting one of her medallions today in some new thread! Very exciting! That Atom with six shuttles will be my next rainy day project!
