Measures 14" across
This is my biggest achievement yet. The color scheme really came by chance; I wanted to mix up the colors somewhere in this doily and I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out. The blue color is called 'Wedgewood light' so I thought I'd make this one look like wedgewood china. Took me almost 17 weeks to make! It was great way to start the New Year by finishing a large project. I went to sit down last night and realized that I didn't have something to tat! So I quick made Fox's Abigail while we watched a movie; pictures to come! I've also been working on needle tatting! That will be tomorrow's post!
Good night all! Have a blessed start to a new week!

Fox : ))
Wowie! This is gorgeous!!!
It's beautiful! - I love the colours. Is that the doily which has all the split chains? - I have been avoiding that one.
Your doily looks great, congratulations on finishing it! I like your colour changes.
Das Deckchen gefällt mir sehr, ich finde es ist wunderschön!
Liebe Grüße Cornelia
Lovely doily, and beautiful colours put together

Thank you ladies! Ich danke Ihnen Cornelia!
This was a fantastic project; I really enjoyed the journey. It represents a lot of lovely evenings, after dinner, with the family.
Maureen - this doily does have split chains, but you can easily cut and tie to end the rounds. I have found that split chains are a true time saver and I try to use them wherever I can.
Blessings!
