Finished!

I finished the Antique Purple Doily last night! This is a pattern from an old Handy Hands Newsletter. It's called the Adrienne Place Mat and it measures 11 inches from point to point. I'm really pleased with the way the colors all turned out. I've actually started another one that will be tatted a solid color. I've chosen Lizbeth Sea Green, a nice light pastel for the Easter season, so I'll post more pictures on that soon!

Have a lovely start to your week everyone! May your Monday be Marvelous!

Congratulations, Allison! I admit that 'in-process' I wasn't particularly fond of this doily, but now that it's completed and so beautifully blocked, my opinion has done a flip-flop. Really nice job -- and I'm *so* impressed that you're starting right away with another one!

Thank you Gwen! I'm never sure if my crazy hair-brained ideas will work or not and this one isn't too bad. I totally admit to not liking it that much while I was tatting it, but all said and done it looks nice. Maybe I'll give this one as a gift ASAP!! :) Oh, thank you so much God's Kid!

Thank you for all the lovely and encouraging comments everyone!! This was a refreshing challenge to work on because of studying the pattern and working with two shuttle colors. It's nice to have a good challenge every now and then :)
